Skate Art Studio¶
Art on skateboard decks. Every year, local artists from Telč and the Vysočina region paint skate decks. The works are exhibited, sold — and the proceeds go directly to building the skate community.
What is Skate Art Studio¶
Skateboarding and visual culture occupy the same space here — which is where they belong.
The exhibition started as a way to fund a covered skate mini ramp in Telč. It became something more: a meeting point between the skate community, local artists, schools, parents, and anyone curious enough to show up.
Each deck is a unique original. Each artist donated their work pro bono. The format is a skateboard. The canvas is 22 × 35 cm of maple.
